Consent Form as a live document

Deenview Project 2018

The concept of consent and the content of the Accessible Consent Form has been discussed and revisited continuously: project participants and collaborators consider the Consent Form to be an evolving,  ′live′ document that is in regular use. A method of discussion was co-developed, approaching the concept of consent and creating the content of the Consent Form collaboratively. Conversations were also accompanied by unstructured, spontaneous drawing and painting processes – art making became a ‘vehicle’ for our conversations.

Discussions of consent are not separated or isolated events, the question of consent is an integrated part of the project: it is essential part of the area of documentation, of selective and curatorial processes. Participants also revisit this website on a regular basis and time is taken to talk about page content and the selection of images.
